About

Maggie is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker and editor based in Truckee, California, working with clients to bring their stories and projects to life.

She grew up romping through whimsical scenes of snow caked conifers and swimming through the almost infinite hues of blue water that is Lake Tahoe. This little haven, situated amidst the Sierras, instilled a deep sense of appreciation for nature, which she tries to share through her work.

In 2009 Maggie graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a degree in Visual Journalism, attended the illustrious Eddie Adams Workshop, and joined NPR’s Science Desk as a Visuals Producer/Photographer. There, she collaborated with reporters and editors to produce original photo and multimedia content. She was most recently the video producer for NPR Music, where she produced Tiny Desk Concerts featuring all sorts of talented artists, from Cat Stevens to T-Pain.

Her work has been recognized by WHNPA, Vimeo, SND and PDN. Photography clients include NPR, VOX, Dwell, National Audubon Society.
